So it's pretty much a direct upgrade to Outlook tasks and I can even still keep embedding Outlook tasks in OneNote because of the two way sync. Therefore I can create tasks directly from email in Outlook and then deal with them in MLO. It's a lightweight desktop app that can sync two ways with Outlook. Using Outlook tasks for personal stuff just seemed too clunky compared to slicker alternatives (like todoist, wunderlist, Gqueues etc.) but I couldn't justify going outside of Outlook at work because the email/calendar/task/OneNote integration is great (except for the task management options).

Sharing with other accounts would be nice. Someway of syncing between clients with same account on different computers. I would say max 40$ a year for an account is OK). (Cloudbased with subscription is OK for me, if it is not high $$$ per month. But the latter is OK, if its not a high price per year.

I prefer a perpetual license over a subscribtion based. MUST have a desktop client (i dont want to loose focus on it between all the other browser windows/tabs (but if it can be done someway, i am interested - IF it works like a desktop client). Customizable Tags / Labels / categories is a must! Project-like tasks with subtasks, and notes is a must! SQLite is already a popular API for persistent data storage in iOS. More or less same features and workflow as OmniFocus, just for Windows. Proud to bring you OmniFocus, OmniOutliner, OmniGraffle, and OmniPlan.
